Old Delhi

Old Delhi: Walls of 7th Delhi named Cihan Shah lie as ruins from the west of Red Fort. Kashmiri Gate at the north of this wall, bears traces of hopeless struggle of the British. Sabzi Mandi at the west of this gate had been built (by the British) in memory of the British soldiers died in the war there. Main street of Old Delhi is Chandi Chowk which resembles a colorful bazaar. This street reflect another dimension of India with its  24-hour crowds, chaos and disorder. It is not like open and wide streets of New Delhi.  Red Fort is on one end of Chandi Chowk and Jama Masjid is on the other hand. Famous bird hospital and Jain template famous with its monks wandering naked are exactly at the corner.
